VA Caregiver Support Program
VA Caregiver Support Program (CSP)/Elizabeth Dole Foundation (EDF) Convening
Annual National Convening:
State of the Caregiver Community
hosted by VA and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation
May 11th 2023, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), in collaboration with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation (EDF), hosted the 8th Annual National Caregiver Convening. This partnership with EDF reflects VA’s beliefs that caregivers are essential to Veterans’ care, and that caregivers themselves have earned our nation’s gratitude and support.
We were proud to join the EDF at this year’s event as we continue to put caregivers front and center once again at this year’s event giving them the recognition and attention they so rightfully deserve. This year’s convening—titled, The State of the Caregiver Community. The event unveiled new innovations, programs, and resources to support veteran caregivers and their families, with a special focus on the caregiver to survivor transition. The focus was on gaining access to the latest tools available to help better support the veteran caregivers.
