Resources for Caregivers
Caregiving with Children and Adolescents
Caregiving with Children and Adolescents Guide
The Caregiving with Children and Adolescents Guide from the VA's Caregiver Support Program is a valuable resource for those in caregiving roles, particularly for those who are also caring for children and adolescents. It's crucial for caregivers to prioritize their own well-being while tending to the needs of others, and this guide provides practical support in achieving that balance. Caring for both Veterans and children requires special attention and support, considering the unique challenges and responsibilities involved. Hidden Helpers, as they are called, play a significant role in the caregiving process, and acknowledging their needs and providing appropriate care is essential for their well-being.

Sesame Street for Military Families: Caregiving
Sesame Street for Military Families: Caregiving* - Coming home from a deployment with visible or invisible injuries is a huge challenge for any servicemember or veteran – especially those with young children in their family. Even beyond the military community, the reality is that most people will serve as caregivers at some point in their lives. These resources remind every caregiving parent and child that they’re not alone, and that asking for help is always a brave thing to do. http://ssic.org/veterancaregiving*
